The hotel had a great location near a beautiful church and surrounded by hills. Our room was tiny, but it had a great view of the surrounding rooftops. we were disappointed with the bathroom, which was extremely small and had a terrible shower. the service was okay, but the staff struggled with English. Breakfast was poor, with limited choices.
The parking situation was confusing and inconvenient.

it is a wonderful location, very nice staff, personal informal atmosphere and is situated in a romantic village on top of a hill in the heart of Tuscany.

Very nice room with a stylish decoration. Very friendly stuff. Fantastic building, traditional style located in the historical center of picturesque village of Castelmuzio not far from Siena. The hotel has a restaurant (the only one in the village) with delicious traditional tuscan dishes. Quiet place.
No internet. Small bathroom. Due to the fact that it is located in the historical center of the village, you can not bring the car to the hotel except for loading/unloading luggage, there is free public parking nearby though.

paragraph: The Locanda in Castelmuzio was absolutely stunning, with spacious and quirky rooms decorated to a high standard. The staff were brilliant, speaking good English and providing excellent service. The on-site restaurant served amazing local food, and the breakfast was typically Italian. The location in the small authentic village of Castelmuzio was also perfect.
Paragraph: Cannot find any fault.

The location was perfect, if you don't want to mingle with all other foreign tourists, but close enough to Siena and Pienza and many other interesting places. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant delicious.

Great location in Castelmuzio. Staff were all super friendly and restaurant served served great dinners for a reasonable price.
Little noisier then I would have thought. Smoking room next door so woke up at 6 am to the smell of smoke in our room. I think the guests next door were leaving early!

The hotel is situated in a medieval village with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. the location is great for exploring central Tuscany. the rustic style of the rooms was charming and cozy. the on-site restaurant was excellent and offered delicious meals.
The bathroom in our room was quite small and the shower and toilet were tightly together. there were some mosquitoes and noise from the air conditioning system.

Charming small hotel in hilltop village. The only bar and restaurant there so great atmosphere with the locals coming in. Paola who ran it was great, made us very welcome and could speak enough English to make up for our poor Italian. Excellent food at a very reasonable price. If you want to sample traditional Italian hospitality in an out of the way beautiful setting then this is for you.

During my recent business trip to Castelmuzio, my director chose the Locanda Di Casalmustia as our accommodation. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the location was absolutely stunning. Situated in a picturesque village, the hotel offered breathtaking views of the Orcia and its tributaries. The water here was not only refreshing but also added a tranquil ambiance to my stay. Additionally, the staff at Locanda Di Casalmustia were incredibly attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, making my stay even more comfortable.
I must highlight one minor drawback of my experience at Locanda Di Casalmustia.
